Build up - 3 patterns to goal with finish. Each color represents a different pattern to small goals.
Focusing on our 3 main principles: Play through. Play around. Play over.
Creating a wide diamond in build up.
Coaching Points: Passing accuracy, quality of first touch, movements to lose marker, off ball players reading cues to advance themselves forward, finishing technique, communication.
Main Activity
Focus on attacking principles: build up - play around. play through. play over. opposite movements when attacking last line of opposition. at least one player in wide channel - creating single or double width. Look to create an overload in opposition half.
Defending Principles: Nothing through centrally, force wide. high aggressive press to win ball in opponents build up, on transition win ball back within 3 passes, recognizing when to press high and when to go into a block. Outrun opponent, WIN DUELS.
