ARRIVAL ACTIVITY

S.S. Lazio Ghostbusters Warm-Up Activity
Objective:
To improve dribbling under pressure and decision-making when transitioning between offense and defense.

Pitch Dimensions:
20x20 meters square grid with a central area for locked players.

Progressions:

Time Limit:
Introduce a 2-minute timer for the players with the balls to avoid being kicked out. This creates urgency and encourages quicker decision-making under pressure.

Multiple Defenders:
Add more defenders (one additional defender for every two players) to increase the difficulty and force the dribblers to work on their ball control and agility in a more crowded space.

Main Activity

Boca Juniors Attacking Breakout Activity
Objective:
To develop quick transitions and improve attacking play in 4v4 situations, focusing on creating goal-scoring opportunities.

Pitch Dimensions:
30x20 meters with a large goal in the center and mini goals at each end.

Progressions:

Target Player Restrictions:
Limit the target players' movement to a smaller area, forcing the attacking team to play with more creativity and precision in their passing and positioning.

Increase Defenders:
Add an additional defender to the blue team, making it a 4v3 in the initial phase, increasing defensive pressure and improving the white team's ability to maintain possession and create chances under greater opposition pressure.

FC Basel Create Overload SSG Activity
Objective:
To improve combination play and decision-making, focusing on creating overloads in attack to score in a larger goal.

Pitch Dimensions:
20x30 meters, with a large goal at each end and a central zone for 3v3 play.

Progressions:

Increase Attacking Players:
Allow the attacking team to add another player (making it a 4v2) after they release the ball to the attackers, further emphasizing overloads and creating more scoring opportunities.

Defensive Pressure:
Increase the number of defenders by adding one more (making it 3v3 in the middle and 3v2 in attack), forcing the attacking team to be more precise with their combination play and quicker with their decisions.
